| Brief Introduction | 440C steel is a martensitic stainless steel. Strong rust resistance, it is a high-strength cutting tool steel with slightly higher carbon content. After appropriate heat treatment, it can achieve higher yield strength and a hardness of up to 58HRC, making it one of the hard stainless steels. There are three commonly used models: 440A, 440B, and also 440F (easy to process type) Scope of application: Mainly used for manufacturing bearing parts that work in corrosive environments and non lubricated strong oxidizing atmospheres. 440C has good high-temperature dimensional stability, so it can also be used as a corrosion-resistant high-temperature bearing steel. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture high-quality knives, such as medical surgical knives, nozzles, bearings, etc. |
